Subject: Subject Headings
The Australian Standard Research Classification is a set of three related classification schemes produced by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS Catalogue no. 1297.0) 1998. It is used for the measurement and analysis of Australian research and development (R&D) activities.
The ASRC incorporates the Research Fields, Courses and Disciplines (RFCD) classification code. This scheme describes and categories higher education R&D activities according to the type of research undertaken.
